“Do you not know that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? … For He will render to every man according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, He will give eternal life; but for those who are factious and do not obey the truth, but obey wickedness, there will be wrath and fury.”

For the method of godliness consists of these two things: pious doctrines and virtuous practice;
neither are the doctrines acceptable to God apart from good works,
nor does God accept the works which are not perfected with pious doctrines...
A most precious possession therefore is the knowledge of doctrines;
also there is need of a wakeful soul, since there are many that
make spoil through philosophy and vain deceit...
concerning all of whom together the Lord says, Take heed lest any man mislead you.

Consecrated Sisters

The word “consecrated” means separated from common use to sacred use; by which a person or a thing is dedicated to the service and worship of God by prayers, rites, and ceremonies. Following in the footsteps of the Mother of God, many females responded to the call of service and virginity. St. Phoebe was a deaconess who helped St. Paul (Rom 16:1-2).
