As Christ was unknown by those who did not believe the prophets before He came,
He remained unknown to them even when present.
For He came humbly and concealed (in His first coming);
the more concealed in proportion as He was more humble.
But the people, despising in their pride the humility of God,
crucified their Savior, and made Him their condemner.
Consecrated Sisters
The word “consecrated” means separated from common use to sacred use; by which a person or a thing is dedicated to the service and worship of God by prayers, rites, and ceremonies. Following in the footsteps of the Mother of God, many females responded to the call of service and virginity. St. Phoebe was a deaconess who helped St. Paul (Rom 16:1-2).
