He who raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise us up also with Jesus (2 Cor 4:14).
For God, Who never lies, promised this; the Truth promised this in His gospel, when He said:
“This is the will of Him who sent Me, that I should lose nothing of all that He has given Me, but raise it up at the last day”
(Jn 6:39).

And He thought it not sufficient to have said this once, but marked it by express repetition, for this follows:
“For this is the will of My Father, that every one who sees the Son and believes in Him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day” (Jn 6:40).

Who was He that said this? He in truth Who, when dead, raised up many bodies of the departed.
If we believe not God, shall we not believe evidence?
Do we not believe what He promised, since He did even that which He did not promise?
